Even though we only stopped for lunch. I thought the food was great. I had the soft shell crab Blt sandwich. My wife had blackened fish taco and she thought it was delicious. Consider that she is not a fish lover. The scenery was beautiful, backwater Reed lined channels. My only complain would be that it took a while for the food to come out.

Had the burger with Irish cheddar and bacon. Best burger ever. Carole was a fabulous waitress and the view from the secret upstairs was amazing! Ask to see it!!!!
I stopped here for my birthday. Had the clam strips with sweet potatoe wedges. For dessert the chocolate bread pudding. Yum!
Awesome food, beautiful scenery and amazing staff! Worth the long drive from Newport News!
We went there last night for a birthday dinner and for a Monday night it seemed they were unexpectedly VERY busy with many large parties. We were seated promptly and our waiter Richard never missed a beat even though we were one of his many tables. Food was great as usual and the owner Blake stopped by our table to check on everything. Thanks for another pleasant dining experience!!
Went there for a business dinner and the service was outstanding. Food was exactly what fine dining food should be. Our bartender "Anna" with no last name was great.
Service was great & food was delicious! Will be back soon.
