Great stay! Great price! Super location! And fabulous service!! Look, ya get what ya pay for & to each their own, but this hotel isn’t THAT bad!! Yes, the building is old. ALL the hotels in this area are!! It’s part of the charm! The outstanding character and hospitality in this facility is EPIC! They have everything you need! Great customer service, personable staff. Great location near the beach. Great comfortable beds! This is an older establishment but the rooms are very comfortable. They have breakfast like cereal juice etc. The staff made our stay worth it thanks.

This is the first time in my life I’ve ever had to leave a hotel right after checking in and it was 1am. That should say enough. The place is in shocking condition and honestly should not be operating. The building itself is not unkept and the room was even worse. It looked and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There were visible stains on the door, thick layers of dust built up on the bed frame, and even hairs on the bed. Everything about it just felt dirty, disgusting, and unlivable. Stay here for 5 nights. The prices were terrific. The manager and The workers were polite and helpful. They even offer towels and beach chairs, sand toys and umbrellas for the beach which is walkable distance. The rooms were spacious,clean and had a kitchenette. The rooms are a little outdated but all I cared about was cleanliness and that it was! I highly recommend Island House for your next day if you're looking for an affordable and walkable place to stay!!!
