Stayed at Island House South Beach Miami and honestly had a great experience. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and close to everything happening in South Beach. The staff was super friendly, active, and always helpful whenever needed. The property is clean and well maintained. If I could leave negative stars I would. My husband and I booked this hotel for my daughter for her prom to get ready at. When my daughter checked in her room was absolutely filthy. There were literal dirt footsteps in the tub, trash on the floor, sides of the floor seemed to have mold and the hallways were full of trash and dimly lit. She immediately went downstairs and canceled her reservation. They tried to suggest another room but she refused based on the cleanliness of the actual overall hotel. If i could give this place less than 1 star i would the service was worse than the upkeep of the room. the manager i spoke with was rude and was not professional. my boyfriend and i spent $600 for two nights in a special occasion and we left after only staying for 10 minutes because of how bad the room was. we left and asked for a refund and the man that checked us in said we should be able to get one because of how nasty the room was and now calling they won’t give a refund and reimburse us for the $600 we spent for a room ... read more

Excellent hôtel. The rooms were as big as a full studio apt. There was a full size kitchen with a lot of goodies. The deco came with nice furniture and a TV with over a hundred channels. Also the staff was very friendly, specialy the manager Ricky. I would highly recommended this hôtel.

The best place to stay at Miami Beach! Very comfy & relaxing rooms (some even got kitchens). Everything is 5 min walk: food, bank, walgreens, ross etc... Ricki the front desk manager is ultra chill & cool guy too! They got coffee through the day too! My 2nd year in a row coming here...& will continue this way!
