Can I just say that this place is AMAZING. I personally see Ariana Gomez for my hair cut and color needs, hands down the best stylist I have been to in a while. She does what's best for my hair not what's best for her wallet. Great conversation, she is the sweetest thing. Abby does my boyfriends hair and everytime he comes home looking FRESH. ��� If you're looking for a long term place, go here!!!
I came to Island Hair Retreat 2 years ago while on vacation. Kibbs did such an amazing job! I recently moved to Galveston and I came in today wanting the same style and again, Kibbs did an awesome job! I went to Kroger afterwards and the cashier said my hair was Fleek!! FLEEK!! I have looked for 10 years to find someone who can do an awesome faux hawk... Kibbs nailed it!! Will never go anywhere else... Ariana was so nice and she did an exceptional job, seeing how young she was did make me nervous BUT NO NEED SHE IS AMAZINGLY TALENTED!! She came in at 6 am to do my hair and my sister's (Lori Elliott) hair and makeup for her wedding. We were held up by the fog and Lori's hair and makeup stayed PERFECT ALL DAY!! Thank you Ariana you are a very gifted beautician and we were very lucky to have met you. I 100% recommend Island Hair Retreat and especially Ariana!!
Katelyn has been doing my hair since before she opened IHR ... She does a great job ...!!! the wash is my favorite part .... !!! Lol
Started going to Island Hair Retreat after my daughter started going and her hair always looked so good. Her and I both use Ariana, she is always friendly and smiling, you can tell she loves what she does. All the girls are always friendly and welcoming. We love this salon. My hair hasn't felt and looked this good in a long time, Ariana knows what she's doing.
The kindest people with great prices. Since I came back to Texas in 2011 I've been going here and not once have I had any issues. Highly dependable.
A friend recommended island hair retreat and I'm SO GLAD SHE DID! I wanted to get my hair cut short which is always scary but I went in anyways. I got my haircut by Samantha and I'm honestly amazed. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Best haircut I've ever gotten, by a long shot! The UTMB student discount was just the icing on the cake. You girls are awesome, thank you!
