Do not recommend these uncaring inconsiderate people. Was in the office during a pandemic and was kicked out because I wasn’t being seen. I was considering using them for myself but decided they don’t know my whole story and had no right to take me away from my mother. Please do not go here after seeing they only care about their money. Poor health judgement in my opinion.

RecommendedJust had laser surgery to reduce pressure. Dr G is the BEST. Office staff from beginning to end are wonderful as well as professional. Totally trust and recommend Island Eye !!!!!!!
I called on thuesday I had an emergency ( blurry vision and lot of flash lights) I was scared and I wanted to make sure I had no RETINAL DETACHMENT I explained to office employer I had retinal tears and it was very high risk I had laser coagulation on January 23 rd outside country and I come back to NY on January 25th she got me on hold and then I have been told that : sorry but under official Coronavirus protocol ( there is no protocol DO NOT SEE EMERGENCY patient who left an area witch is “green area” 45 days ago!!!!!! on ... read more

Excellent care. We have been going there for seven years. Very detailed examinations. I have had cataract surgery on both eyes, and am very pleased.
Both Dr Gerstenfeld and Dr Nejat are wonderful doctors. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend both locations!
