We just moved to Venice this week and needed records for our cat for our new place and island animal hospital got us an appointment the next day and notified previous vet in Pennsylvania for us. The staff was very friendly and didn't make us wait in the room and Smokey loved them.
Very caring and friendly staff. They answer all my question no mater how trivial. A parrot ( Captain Coconut) greets you at the door. These are my first impressions.
This is the best Animal Hospital I have ever been to. Dr. and his staff do a super job taking care of the health needs of my 1 year old Dobie girl. I had her spayed there as well and she came though it wonderfully. They took such great care of her. This animal Hospital has such a friendly atmosphere for humans and animals alike! In addition, Dr. T is super honest and wont order a bunch of unnecessary tests. I know from experience that if a test is ordered, my animal really needs it. I was desperate. I needed to find an Orthopedic Surgeon that could help my 11 year old Golden Retriever and my referrals were in Sarasota and I needed to wait almost a month for an appointment. I googled Surgeons in the Venice area and not in my wildest dreams did I expect to find Dr. T and Island Animal Hospital. I called, explaining my situation and got a same day appointment with surgery 3 days later. Dr. T and his staff were wonderful! Dr T is now our "fur babies" vet. Kathy Hanas
Dr. T and his team are awesome. We couldn't have found better care and support when we learned that our wonderful cat Max had diabetes. Thoughtful, knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. Thank you!
