He dismissed my symptoms (hr over 200 bpm from slow, short walks, nausea+vomiting at any physical exertion, etc) as “emotional issues common in girls your age”. Incredibly sexist, which is especially dangerous in a field like cardiology where patients’ lives are often at high risk
Several of my children have seen him and stayed with him as long as the could as adults. He was always available anytime when we need to call. He treats people like a friend and is super knowledgeable. His staff is really great too.
Dr McCormack has been treating my grnddtr since birth. He is professional, accurate, concerned and discusses with me so I can understand. I feel he cares about us and plans the best course of action. I trust him and would recommend him.
Watch out the crazy bill. Go there if you have a real cardio issue. Consulting fee itself is $694 and echo color doppler test is $2,163. Make sure to ask the cost of test they do. Once its billed, they wont listen about billing question by keep repeating they are co-operation now so they are not responsible for the bill. Just an expensive rip-off. You'd better consult with your physician.
I have a condition called dysautonomia. It makes me tachycardic and also makes my blood pressure low. It affects everything my body should be able to control for example temperature, blood pressure, heart rate. Dr McCormack stated that the illness was psychological. He referred me to a psychologist. Since then I have switched docs. The one I have now has done more for me in four months then Dr. McCormack has done for me in three years. If you have pots or dysautonomia I recommend someone else.
Wow what an amazing dr! Dr Iskowitz is in the right field. He is so good with kids and so knowledgeable and understanding He didn’t give us tough to understand dr launguage he spoke with us like we were friends. I feel so blessed that my daughter could be seen by him he was wonderful and kind to her, for that I’m so grateful. I highly highly recommend him to any parent needing reassurance and support and understanding of their child’s condition.
She was extremely thorough and on point. Thought she did an amazing job with my daughter when she was in the hospital. One of the top 2 doctors I’ve ever seen.
WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW GREATFUL I AM THAT THIS DOCTOR WAS GOD SENT TO ME AND MY DAUGHTER. FINALLY A PROVIDER WHO CARES! HE IS CARING, COMPASSIONATE, AND KIND. HE IS INTERESTED IN MORE THAN JUST SEEING YOU AS A PATIENT = $$$, HE IS THOROUGH, HE WILL LISTEN TO ALL YOUR CONCERNS AND MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE KNOWING YOUR NEXT PLAN OF ACTION FOR YOUR CHILDS HEALTH! I WAS IN TEARS DRIVING HOME BECAUSE THIS MAN IS LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR COMPARED TO OUR PREVIOUS EXPEREINCES WITH OTHER SPECIALIST. FINAL
Very poor bedside manner. When seeing my child in the hospital she did not introduce herself and barked questions at me. When she was done, I had to asks her who she was. If I had known she was an ID specialist, I would have answered differently. On follow-up she started to come in the room then asked who the nurse was. She proceeded to yell the nurses name down the hallway and left before I could ask questions. She never came back for the rest of the stay, and my questions were never answered.
