One of the wildest experiences I've ever had with a doctor. I saw Dr. Kahla for a GI issue, he seemed fine during the first couple appointments but he had told me if I had a bout with my GI issue I could call the office and they would put in a prescription for my antibiotics so I could at least get started on that while I waited for an appointment. He order test and it takes you 2 to 3 months to get an appointment so you might get the results and then when they schedule the appointment he is not in the office so I never saw him. Glad my primary care and my sister that is a doctor had went over the test for me. He has to many patients he cannot take care of them.. looks like it is all about the money.
I had heard that this doctor was good, so I made an appointment for an endoscopy that my primary care doctor wanted me to have due to some gastro issues I was having. The appointment was over three months out, but he is covered by my insurance and we don’t have many specialists in our city, so I scheduled it. Waiting for appointments too long
Dr. Kalha is an excellent physician, very caring, personable, and attentive. The practice can be difficult to deal with at times but Dr. Kalha is terrific. After four procedures over several years I can honestly give him a five star rating.
I just got off the phone to make an appointment. I was told that because I had rescheduled and then cancelled an appointment over 3 years ago they would not make me an appt. I was shocked! She said "well, that's our policy". I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Kalha and would imagine he would be shocked as well if he knew how rude his staff was. According to several other reviews, I am not the only one who has been treated with disrespect.
I absolutely love Dr. Kalha and would recommend him to anyone in need of a Gastroenterologist. He is kind, he listens, and he really cares about the well being of his patience. He is also not afraid to tell you when something is outside of his scope of knowledge and will ensure you get the best possible provider for that issue. My only complain is his office staff. His medical assistant Christina is absolutely not helpful and at times downright rude.
Dr. Kalha was very kind and understanding. I highly recommend Dr. Kalha to friends and family. His staff is also very friendly.
