Irwindale Event Center is a cutting-edge facility for motorsports. It features two state-of-the-art oval tracks of 1/2 and 1/3 mile respectively, and a 1/8-mile drag strip. Launched in 1999, this speedway has been the venue for the NASCAR series as well as an array of races, competitions, shows and sports events. The grandstand seats up to 6,500 visitors and with ample parking and eateries on site, it is a great place for family entertainment.

Have been going for years to watch the racing, now I will be taking my truck to run on the 1/8 mile. I used to run bracket night on Wednesdays at OCIR an it was a blast. The best thing is consistency and a low et.
If you tend to have a Heavy right foot and tend to go faster then you should in traffic, then the Irwindale drag strip is the place for you to get all those temptations out. The staff were very helpful to a newbie such as myself to get everything ready to go, and the prices are great for what you get. Definitely come out to see the races, or do what I did Race your street car.
Cool place to go, and test your car! They put on a great event! Always looking forward to going!
