Attended the Texas Half Marathon this morning- convention center locked down everything forcing everyone to walk up 3 flights of wet stairs on the outside of the building in the rain to use the bathroom, even after the race. My son was sick after the race- still said he had to walk up the steps! He vomited on the steps, hope that makes that rude security guard feel good about himself!
Parking garage is free and accessible if you arrive early. Otherwise, you can park on the dirt field across the street. If it's wet bring your 4x4 or your AAA card. Wifi is free if you're not concerned about a constant connection and consistent bandwidth. Make your own food arrangements. The venue's chef has no sense of quality or taste.
The Irving Convention Center is always clean, easy to access, and has care free parking options.
