I attended the North Texas Teen Book Festival and was impressed beyond words with the authors exploring mental health issues in young adult literature. After reading a number of reviews where parking was free for events it left me curious why there was a $5 parking fee for this event? The facility is superb for space accommodations. Beautiful facility! Participating in the Annual Texas Recreation and Park Society Conference. The Irving Convention Center is very clean and in order. The maintenance and custodial staff are excellent representatives of this facility! Excellent customer service indeed!
Here for the SBTC confetence. Couldn't be any better. Free parking, free wifi! I am assuming the meals on both days was fron the center's kitchen and not an outside caterer. Either way, it was executive level food and service at a blue collar price!! Even the snacks for the late night programs on Monday night were delicious.
