I have attended the DFW Fiber Fest there for the past few years. The venue is fantastic, with good sized classrooms and the hard working folks that set up and break down the exhibition area are much appreciated. There was plenty of security during the event that were present enough to make me feel safe but not so present to break the mood of the event.
