Terrible management. Shut an event down after allowing attendees to pay for parking, entry fees & booth fees (none of which was refunded) stating “non-payment” from the organizer. Why open the doors & allow customer to attend if you haven’t received your payment as part of your contract? Even charged attendees for parking AFTER the event was shut down. Never again.
I attended the King of the South 3 and was only there for two hours before they shut it down. I’ve been looking forward to this event for months, bought three booths, booked a hotel for two nights, drove 7 hours just to get it cancelled within a couple hours. Two of the other 5 people that bought booths with me were walking in when they closed the event down. The excuses they made for closing the event were ridiculous. This place is trash
traveled hundreds of miles to enjoy a dog show at this location only to be turned away shortly after arriving by officials from this convention center.Never have I ever felt so profiled and discriminated against.

Wow I wish there was an option for less than one star. Convention center employees were marginal at best, the parking staff or less than respectful, not to mention the blatant disrespect shown by the Irving Police Department, Who acted in a very non-professional and discriminatory fashion. If I could give a 0 star I would. Hundreds of people traveled from all over the country to attend a dog show at the Irving Convention Center. As people were starting to get situated and the show was underway everyone was told to evacuate cause management is shutting down the event. Horrible experience to show up to the venue where in total over 100k was lost in travel expenses and putting this event together, to only be told that Irving Convention Center is wanting everyone out. I wouldnt recommend this for anyone.Very judgmental people .People came from all over the world to the convention center took two days for everyone to set up booths an made the leave withend minutes.Very Very Disappointed with the management real childish
