I came here to unfortunately put my 21 year old cat down, the staff and vet were very sweet and I would take my next animal here in the future.
I walked in and was told they had cancellation appointments available. Based on that, I was ready to stay for service and was initially told the visit would be $25. However, that suddenly jumped to $180 because they decided to classify it as an “emergency visit.” That kind of price increase without clear justification felt very misleading. One of the technicians expressed my dog's anal glands. The glands were not full, and I was told it was an easy expression. HOWEVER, my dog’s anus is now swollen and exposed. He is clearly in some pain, as he is scooting, running to sit down, trying anything to make it better. I took him back to there to find out what happened and they told me, “ His glands were full, and that made it hard to express” implying I waited to long. AVOID THIS PET HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely unbelievable experience. We recently medically boarded our cat, who has small cell lymphoma, for 6 days as my wife and I were going to be out of town. Our cat needed to be given medication twice a day due to being diagnosed with pancreatitis by her oncologist just days before our trip.
