Dr. Shakir is amazing!
Dr Shakir recommended holding off on surgery due to my individual situation and try physical therapy first. Although I may end up at some time having surgery because of my advanced age, the therapy has been successful in getting me back to doing intense sports activities with little to no pain which if pain occurs it is easily manageable. So thanks to him I will put off surgery indefinitely (if ever?). LK

My name is Angie Slowinski. I had a broken patella and met Doctor Shakir in the hospital. He was very informative. When I saw him in his office he explained my treatment plan in detail. He showed me the x -rays and by the time I left I knew exactly what to expect. Dr.Shakir was very personable. I highly recommend him.
