If I could give the IRS a zero I definitely would! This is worst agency working for the American people! I thought the social office was terrible but IRS have them beat by a long shot! I just need to speak with someone and it's just impossible, I've used every prompt and tool suggested to no avail! IRS needs a complete overhaul!
They never want to help was in hold for 3 hours and they keep giving stupid excuses not to help us.
I have been trying for hours to talk with someone about a notice I received and responded to. It has been months and no response and cannot reach anyone on any phone number. What are we supposed to do? This is insane. We would like our refund!
I have called over a dozen tines in less than a week to three IRS phone numbers. I have called at 7:00am twice, 8:30 and various times during the day. The only message I hear is "I'm sorry, but due to high traffic volumes... call back later or another day".
This is the worst experience ever. They mailed me a bill saying I owe additional funds because I am self-employed. However, I am not self-employed, and I have been on the phone since this morning waiting for callbacks. It is now 4:18 P.M. Either they don’t call me back, or they disconnect my call. All I want is for someone to help me!
