I was told that my insurance deductible had not been met and I had to pay $264.00 each time for two visits. My insurance provider called them and told them that my deductible had been met and that I was not to be charged. It's been 4 months and I'm still waiting for my reimbursement from ironwood. I've since been going to Mayo Clinic and couldn't be happier. Mayo has the best surgeons and follow up care around.
By all means, the oncologists and chemotherapy staff have been amazing, but this paperwork misplacement since beginning is a mess! Now, our little family who is barely getting by with LTD checks now has no money for the next couple of days. 1 time I get, but more than once is a problem. It's stressful enough with all of these changes and now we have to worry about how we are going to feed our family and pay bills. Thanks Ironwood! Way to make this more stressful than it already is!
