Ironside was phenomenal! I highly recommend you request Katy as your sever. She was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole dinner an awesome experience. The Octopus and Lavender Creme Brulee were to die for!
This place is awesome!!! It was my first time to eat at Ironside and I have been looking for a really good oyster bar in San Diego. I finally found one. I love that they really know their oysters. What it is and where it came from. I was there during their mid-day menu. I can't wait to go back and taste their lunch or dinner.

Everything we had was amazing. Great service and great atmosphere. I would stop back the next time I am in San Diego in a heartbeat.
I feel terrible having to give this rating as I have been there before and a 5 star experience. Hostesses were great, bartenders were great, our waitress was very sweet but either overwhelmed or under trained. We ordered oysters and octopus for appetizers in which she forgot the octopus, ordered broccolini with our entrees and she forgot that, never checked on us, forever to get the check and no offer to bring us more drinks at anytime of our dining experience.
