I have 9 tattoos, and I've got my last 4 at Iron Tide.... I am beyond impressed with every artist and Their ability to take an idea and make it one of the best experiences. Jason Shanks is amazing, I had a tattoo on my Thigh that was over 10 yrs old and he Free Handed a cover up tattoo over it that's is absolutely Beautiful. John Jansky Just did a Beautiful set of roses on my ribs for my birthday, He was such a sweet person and the tattoo is beautiful. I had an incredible experience at Iron Tide today. My artist, John Jansky, gave me a one of a kind piece of art. I insanely asked for an owl that incorporated steampunk, gears and cherry blossoms and I got everything I wanted and more. John is the consummate professional. The rest of the staff was kind, friendly, thoughtful and professional and had me smiling and laughing the whole 7 hours I was there. Great place to get a tat in Danville and all of east central Illinois.

I had something very specific in mind from my favorite book series and Jason Pratt nailed it in black/white. Great detail. Both tattoos look phenomenal, with minimal swelling/redness afterward, and I couldn't be happier! Thanks so much, Jason!
I found Jason Shanks by accident in 2009 at No Regrets in Champaign and I followed him to his own shop here at Iron Tide. I will never let anyone but Jason or someone at his shop tattoo me, my friends or family. He is always professional and you can tell from one session that he is a genuine guy. Not to mention that the shop is always immaculate and spot less.
