We’ve been coming here for 4 months and initially really liked the practice up until today. There were two new receptionists, one of which is an older woman who I was checking in with. (I also prechecked in online with no issues, and arrived to her appointment 20 mins early) She said I needed to call our insurance as it “expired” so I let my husband know because it’s under him and he called immediately while at work. This place has 0 customer service. I called to schedule a new patient visit for my son, and this rude snappy lady takes over the phone call and says "It looks like you no-showed an appt back in 2021, so you are not allowed to be seen at this practice" What a joke. To have a business hold a grudge over a single missed appt having no knowledge on why that appt was missed, let alone it being FOUR years ago, is an absolutely garbage way to run a practice. I am not a patient but I work upstairs and I have to say every staff member I have encountered in the elevator has been so kind, joyful and does not speak negative of their job.
I ask if they take Medicaid the lady says no and hangs up how incredibly rude
We’ve had a great experience with Iron Horse Pediatrics so far! My daughter was in the NICU after birth and Iron Horse did an amazing job following up with us and making the proper referrals to specialists as needed. We see Christie Foster and she is amazing! Very kind, thorough, and intelligent. She always knows the latest research and treats every concern with love and care.
