Blew a tire a mile from iron city bikes and 5 min before they closed. I called and they said no worries, i rode on a flat got fixed up in 10 min and completed my ride. Awesome shop, great people.
Got a flat after my commute to Pitt and saw no bike shops were open or very close. As I was walking back over the icy sidewalks toward Millvale with a useless hunk of a bike, a fellow approached me and asked if I needed help. I thought he was being a smartass, but he quickly told me he worked at a nearby bike store, and even though it was his day off, he could help. If I could give a higher rating I would. These guys go out of their way to do the best job possible. Friendly, unpretentious staff. A local gem.
