Iron & Oars is the total package for a gym. The workouts prioritize strength but also include endurance and mobility. In addition, they offer nutrition coaching to help you meet your goals. Jen and all her instructors are supportive and care about you- and it really shows in the sense of community they’ve built since they opened. I can honestly say that I look forward to walking through those doors- even on the really early mornings!
I’ve been a member of Iron & Oars for over 4 years and love this program today as much as I did 4 years ago. I&O has changed my life for the better — I’m stronger, healthier and happier than I have been in years, including improved blood pressure and cholesterol levels. I can’t recommend Iron & Oars enough. It’s a great low-impact, full-body workout. The instructors are fantastic, very knowledgeable and encouraging. They have a variety of weight training and HIIT classes throughout the week.
One of the toughest workouts I’ve done, but in the best way. The class was challenging from start to finish, and the instructors kept everyone motivated and pushing hard the whole time. It’s a great environment whether you’re new or experienced, and you leave feeling like you really accomplished something. Definitely recommend giving IRON & OARS a try.
