This place will tell you your insurance is accepted and that your appointment has been paid for when really, they are out of network for damn near every provider, like another review said they will leave a balance on your account forcing you to pay it next time you come in, and try to take the money from your insurance company as well, the financials of this place are awful.
The amount of calls and text hounding me to confirm an appt is utterly ridiculous. I’m an adult I haven’t missed an appt with Irmo Smiles ever. Yet they continue to lump good customers in with bad ones to the point I’m leaving and finding another dentist. OVERBEARING comes to mind.
This place sucks.my feelings they put in 2 yrs ago fell out and they put them back in and charged me 1043.00. They didn't give me a itemized of what I was going to have to pay I thought since they put them In they would fix them for free. Will not go back.
I broke my front tooth late Tuesday afternoon around 3:30pm. I moved to Columbia SC about 1 year ago. I have not made it a priority to find a new dentist. I have passed Irmo Smiles many times traveling around town. I always commented on how nice the office looked and would say to myself, "I need to make an appointment at Irmo Smiles to have my teeth cleaned". Around October I had a cavity filled and what they call a cap tooth done. I had paid for everything they told me the insurance would not cover. Then today, I get a call from the office confirming an appointment I had and the lady explained that I still owed almost $300! I am confused on how that came about, after the money I paid and filing through the insurance?
