Complete lack of professionalism in following up regarding doctors she recommended and further testing. In addition to her being over 30 minutes late to the initial appointment. I've contacted her office leaving messages via phone, and also in the UHealth portal (which shows that the messages were viewed) for the past 10 months with either no response or that 'someone will call you back.' We could not be be more pleased and reassured by the work of Dr. Irman Forghani. She is obviously very proficient in her field. During our visit, Dr Forghani was not just diagnosing, she was teaching both the family and the student observing. She worked solidly for the entire time she spent with us, amazingly focused and attentive to detail yet very inclusive of us! I've had great experiences with her. She's highly knowledgeable about her specialty and compassionate, taking care not to invalidate your symptoms. She spent three hours with me; it was the most thorough and detailed appointment I've ever had. She's a fantastic doctor! She seems to really care about the quality of life of her patients.

Avoid at all costs. She's not worth the visit. I went to her "Connective Tissue Disorders Clinic" with a CTD diagnosis to have particular subtypes others ruled out, and other possibilities of comorbid and/or similar disorders explored because treatment so far had failed. Her physical exam was not thorough and done with disregard (she re-injured my elbow as I told her it was in a lot of pain, then claimed my inability to move it much due to pain meant that it "wasn't hypermobile"-- it is, and has been assessed as such by very... read more
