RecommendedThis was our first time visiting here despite living here for over 35 years. I’m sorry to say I wasted 35 years not coming here. Food was great (I had the scallops and my daughter had the rainbow trout), the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the beverages were excellent. I can’t wait to go back soon.
We loved this restaurant! The prices are good for the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The taste of the food is out of this world! My wife and I are quite the pub food fanatics and most pubs have great appetizers but their main dishes fall flat. That is not the case here! Great atmosphere and staff was very friendly and knowledgable about their products. Left very satisfied with the quality and quantity of food. And the wine I had paired perfectly with my lamb. Must stop in and try this place it's a hidden gem. Will go back.

The Irish Rose is one of my favorite restaurants in Rockford. Wonderful ambiance. Delicious food made from scratch with vegetarian selections. Good drink specials. And beautiful servers that have always been quite attentive. Highly recommended for a first date because there are no TVs to distract you.
Amazing food and great service. The only place in Rockford I know of that does not use preservatives,that alone has me coming time and time again.
