Highly rated online, I visited this public house with high expectations after noting that in several locations online the owner had stated the pub is currently open after renovations, including on Google. Arrived to find the doors and windows shuttered on 15 August 2026 with a sign on the door, "Closed for Renovations."
Cash only restaurant but the staff and food was very good. Best roast beef Panini I've ever had. I will definitely be back again when I come to Ac. Came back again looking for the same service. Hostess wouldn't let my three yr old daughter have her own food from outside the restaurant. Idk if they have children themselves... But small kids are very picky and don't always like what's offered on the kids menu. I don't see anything wrong especially when three other adults are ordering entrees and drinks.
Always the first place we stop when in AC. They were closed for the last 6 or 7 months. We were disappointed but can't wait til they reopen.
Another perfect meal in a great location just off the Atlantic City boardwalk. Greeted with warmth friendliness helpful attitudes. Another perfect sandwich and beverages that taste like the beer lines were just cleaned and calibrated, the way it always does. It’s like an old friend when you can’t not visit when you come to Atlantic City ! *NOTE: THE PUB HAS BEEN CLOSED since January 2026!
