Way to high rent.
While living at the property was fine, minus some noise complaints from neighbors, security deposit and "pro-rating" was handled extremely poorly by the company. First month pro-rate for a half month came out as more than half of rent and when renewing the lease they didn't even pro-rate the rate difference. Where my bill dropped $100 per month, you'd think the month between leases would then drop half since we moved in on the 15th, so $50 off, but that was not correct. Worst properties to ever rent from.
DO NOT RENT from Iret. I’ve lived at IRET properties twice and and you will not get your security deposit back. They told us they replace the carpets every 5 Years so if you needed to replace the carpet after 3 years you would have to pay the cost for the final 2 years. We professionally cleaned the carpets yet IRET hired the same company we used to clean the carpets for a second time. When we asked how old the carpets were they ignored the question.
