Brought the family in for dinner and have to say the food was great and the portions generous. In particular the salmon Santa Fe was outstanding. Will be back for sure!
Haven't been able to eat there, not sure I want to after my 2 experiences trying to get a table - one time: they don't allow dogs on their patio - and the other: I was ignored!
Poor Service – The service was poor and inattentive. We were left alone at table for over an hour without anyone checking on us. We hardly ate our food because the burgers we ordered had no taste, we then waited to order ice cream but were unable to because no one came to our table for over 45 minutes after bringing us our meal. This is the second time in a row this has happened to us. Disappointingly, we left without leaving a tip - something I have never done. I would not go back to this place. Only so-so The food here is awesome! The chicken salad sandwich isn't the best though. The prices are actually a LOT higher than they need to be though. Customer service is alright.
This restraunt is great, they have very good food, the best shakes and thier fries are always piping hot. It's in the Tower District, right on Olive Avenue. The only disadvantage is that the restraunt is small, but it's best to get there early if you want a seat.
A lot of food.... If and when you get a chance to go to Irene's just remember to bring your appetite! Their portions are big and they usually fill you up for most of the day. I love the atmosphere at this joint!
One of the best burgers in Fresno - Great for breakfast too – Awesome Burger! Good solid breakfast food as well. Great Tower location. Highly Recommend it. The service is good and we've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes or so for a table.
Irene's is primarily a sandwich shop with an island theme, booths, and small tables. – The Scene: The dress at Irene's is casual, so wear what you would wear to any other diner and sit outside on the spacious patio. Irene's recently started serving breakfast from 7am-11am Monday through Friday and from 8am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday; the only obvious deviation from typical breakfast fare is the addition of tortillas and chorizo. Sandwiches make up the bulk of the lunch and dinner menu, including selections like the Rio, made... read more
