I waited 6 months to find out that I have Arthritis in my neck (which I already knew) and that's why my neck was hurting so bad from a fall that I had. My X-rays tell a different story. I have much more wrong with my neck that wasn't even explained to me. I'm now being referred to a hand specialist for moderate carpal tunnel because the EMG says thats what I have yet my hands barely bother me! Fantastic. Listened to me and got straight to the point which I appreciated.
I see Dr. Mavrakakis for my back. Having been to other doctors and had never got any relief to my condition for more than a few months, she completely reevaluated my condition, and proposed a different injection treatment plan. The difference was like night and day with the relief that I had afterwards. The effects lasted longer than anything I had had done previously too. She is great with followups, and knows her stuff.
