It is not real costarrican food, everything taste as a Mexican food. Costarrican food doesn't have big pieces of onion and bell pepper. Furthermore we add our delicious salsa Lizano in the food.

Ticos know that eating is an experience, an activity, something shared with friends and family. That experience is definitely brought to bear as soon as you walk into Irazu. Warm hospitality, authentic flavors, and a delightful environment make this a "must -stop" every time you're in Chicago!
From the food to the customer service, Irazu is absolutely superb. We had a large party of six for a Friday night and although they do not take reservations the staff made sure to accommodate us without any problems. The casado with steak is delicious and the steak is always perfectly juicy. The chifrijo and ceviche are great starters that are sure to be crowd favorites.
