I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism at Hyver. My husband scheduled his LASIK pre-op over a month ago, took time off work, and paid for a round-trip Uber expecting his eyes would be dilated. Only when he arrived was he told that Dr. Hyver is retiring in a few days and that his surgery would be handled by an unknown doctor. Terrible follow up, after EVO surgery , I went from nearsightedness to farsightedness and still needing wearing glasses . there is nothing change for me . Do not recommend it.
Post SMILE with Dr. Hyver in June 2024: Left eye good; right eye blurry. Pre SMILE: -6.5 contacts/glasses with astigmatism on both eyes Overall, I am glad I can see things clearly now with both eyes. This lady who works on Thursdays at the Daly City location is very rude and arrogant to customers/patients. Never smiles and acts like a know-it-all. She's probably just a wannabe doctor or nurse.
