Had an absolutely terrible experience with Boomerang Oakland. I had an appointment with Dr. Diokson in February. The purpose was for him to prescribe/approve physical therapy. In late March, I’d gotten no referral and my insurance had heard nothing from Boomerang. I followed up and found out Dr. Diokson did not sign the note from my visit. I knew they couldn't do my care before even setting up first appointment. They did intake interview. I need pain Dr who can do my pain meds and follow me. They were nice but if your on pain meds don't look for them to help you with them. Down side is I don't know where to go as my new Drs are taking me down and noone is willing to take me on. I'm a chronic pain patient over 20yrs and no options for a new prescribing Dr. And current clinic new policies are a joke. They can't or won't do either. And can't seem to help me find ... read more

Was setup with an appointment the next day, and received lots of follow up text messages and emails to assist me in making my visit go smoothly. Dr. Matthew Johnson was very thorough with my initial visit, and explained in detail everything that I should know, and expect throughout my recovery.
