My fiancé and I went to Iowa River Power Restaurant last night and it was such a wonderful experience. Having a 2 year old we hardly have a chance to get out and have date night. Our waiter Travis H truly made our night extra special. He went out of his way to make sure our night was perfect. Best food and best service we have received EVER!! We will be coming back. Thank you! :)
Our view was terrific! New snow over night made a winter wonderland right in front of us. Sun was going down and a bald eagle came majestically gliding through a few times. The geese came in in droves to settle down for the night on the shallow rocks down from the dam. And the food was outstanding to boot! Price point is a little steep to make it an everyday stop.....but a 50th birthday is special....and I can think of a lot of other special occasions we could indulge on! Awesome food, friendly people, amazing deserts. The owner came out and sent a delicious piece of cake home with us. We will be going back soon.
We made our second trip to IC power one week after our first. I took my kids to celebrate my daughters Sweet 16 birthday. Our server was once again Will. He is fantastic! He remembered our preferences from our last visit and truly made this a one of kind dining experience! My daughters food was all presented reflecting her birthday, right down to the Strawberries and Cream. This restaurant delivers a top notch experience every time!
We went for our 39th Anniversary dinner last Saturday night. Danice greeted us and just knew it was a special occasion...we were treated like royalty and had a wonderful time! We were given a great table overlooking the dam, and thoroughly enjoyed the food with special touches...I took a picture, but can't figure out how to post it here! We were treated with a special dessert which was out of this world!!! We highly recommend Iowa River Power Restaurant to everyone!!! Thank you all so much! Laura and Doug
