My son had a partially detached retina, and we were extremely fortunate to get him in to see Dr. Haupert. The staff is sweet, professional, and knowledgeable, and helped to ease my son’s anxiety about the process. Dr. Haupert took time to explain the problem and the solution so that we all understood. My son is still recovering, but surgery and follow up appointments have been excellent! We feel lucky to have access to great care!
I recently had a vitrectomy performed on each eye. Both were done at this clinic. The procedures were painless and quick, the nurses were friendly and cute and performed the preliminary procedures in a professional friendly manner. The surgeon and anesthesiologist described what was happening and answered all questions in a friendly manner. I am so fortunate to have Dr Haupert as my retinal specialist. He is a very caring, kind and wonderful person. Having been in this Cedar Rapids office dozens of times, I can attest to the professionalism and friendliness of staff. I look forward to and appreciate every appointment I have with Dr Haupert.
Doctor and Staff deserve a 5 star and 3 Ps review from me. 5 stars for exceptional and 3 Ps for Professional, Proficient and Personal. Very Personal. I would recommend them to anyone at any time.
Wow- I have not seen any clinic like this before. I walk in, get registered for my appointment after the lady burped as a greeting. Then went to my first evaluation and they used an iPhone camera to check my pupil dilation. Also- we are in summer and the room was 80 degrees and a heater on! The next room was fine where they took photos of my eyes. Once I saw the doctor, he pressed so hard on my eyes and said “oh you are used to this I’m sure”.
