Mr. Rick T This IS the best butcher shop in San Diego County. Knowledgable and friendly staff make this place a joy to shop at. Selection is amazing. Try the "garlic stuffed marinated tri tip" or the "Baja Birdies" or the "Dry Aged Steaks" or the "Berkshire Pork" and the best "Corned Beef" ever. Amazing Meat This place is so great for fresh meat. My boyfriend and i cooked up some steaks for dinner one night and can't stop going back there to buy more! They have great service and aren't usually that busy. They even provide you with some delicious rub to add some great flavor!
Grilling Headquarters Iowa Meat Farms sells prime beef, pork, etc. The Cattlemen's Cut is a moderately priced steak with great flavor and tenderness. Also love the pork roasts. They cut meats to the size you need, marinate to your taste, and offer cooking advice, They also have a great selection of wines.

Close to the source This is about as close to the source as you're going to get in this prepackaged meat farm world. You'll drive by and recognize this place by the big dairy cow in the lot. They've got all kinds of meat and a helpful butcher. They also sell Julian Pie Company goodies.
