RecommendedMy grandpa just had heart surgery a few weeks ago with Dr. Hockmuth and I just wanted to say that Dr. Hockmuth/Amanda and his team are AMAZING people! There were lots of nerves the day of his surgery and the doctor and his PA did an amazing job of answering our questions/concerns. After the surgery was finished, Dr. Hockmuth came out to talk to me to let me know how it went and explained everything that they did and it definitely helped to calm my “surgery day anxiety”. had both my mom and a uncle go into surgery after having all the tests done saying their blocagage was so bad that they needed to have stints put in within a week, to be told after going back and having the procedure done that there is no blockage at all. Mom's was done end of Dec 2019 and my uncle's was done today. Seems to me its a way to make more money. would be interested to know how many others this happenes to.
ABSOLUTELY... this staff is the BEST!!! I had heart attack in Jan of 2019... hospitalized again..recently... not heart. But heart doctors followed me! These guys are wonderful. Trustworthy and efficient... Pam stigman....dr associate... is awesome❤️🤪🙏💯.
if you have an appointment here..I strongly suggest that you cancel and find another heart center to go to. The doctors at Iowa Heart Center do not listen to their patients, they all have major attitudes and can be quite rude if you ask questions. They didn't listen to me about having Narcolepsy and anesthesia not working on me like others and I woke up on the operating table.
