I have rented with invitation homes for a few years and from the time we moved in to now our rent has increased over $1000., 2 years ago my mother in law needed to move in and when I advised the property management at that time they advised they can add her as an occupant since she will not be paying rent and is a dependent. This year we were forced to add her as a resident. We have to lay a 9.95 monthly fee for air filters that need to be changed every 90 days. When I moved I had a lot of issues. But one of the worst its electrical system. I spent almost 5 months paying laundrymat. Then when they finally sent the technician its supposed was all set, but I notice my dryer didnt dry my clothes like usually does at the past house. And they sent a new electrician confirming everything was good. BUT I thought my dryer probably was damage due I didnt use, and guess what, I BOUGHT A NEW DRYER (I SPENT $700.00 UNNECESARY). So I have been over 24hrs without ac in my home in the middle of July because of this company. I have a dog and had to put him in boarding (out of pocket btw) because I called yesterday for them to fix my ac and it took them over 24hrs to respond (still not fixed also). It is a shame that this platform does not allow consumers to give a business 0 stars. Invitation Homes in Charlotte is the worst leasing experience I have ever encountered. From walls in the same room having different colors (even on the same walls) to a yard that has not been cared for in a long time to the AC unit they refuse to mount to the pad to the house wide electrical issue that are causing surges. I am deeply disappointed to leave this one-star review regarding the living conditions at 5108 School Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34653, managed by Invitation Homes. PLEASE READ! Trust me this company doesn’t deserve any stars at all. Do not rent from Invitation Homes. I know they have a majority of the rental properties in Las Vegas and other areas and that most of the places are pretty nice, but it’s so not worth it. I read all the reviews prior to renting and figured that most of the complaints were probably from people who are just bad tenants. Horrible service! My house has gas leaking from 2 different sources. A work order was created and then canceled. Ring devices are also still not functional and was attached to someone else's account since I've moved in. They force you to use their Ring device and utility company for gas, water and sewer as well; making money in a multitude of ways but not giving proper services when needed!
