Called today. First of all, the woman who answers the general calls was so short with me, that it almost made it unbearable. I was talking and she put me on hold mid-sentence. My favorite part? She told me “you need to call your doctor. You know what I mean…?” “No. I don’t know what you mean. Dr. Minturn is tops. He knows how to help. I have sent several to him.
There is never a reason that an 90 year old woman should be told that she and her husband with dementia - the patient - can leave if she doesn’t like the procedures he’s about to do just because she asked a question about it. She - my father had a bad experience with the same procedure done previously by a different doctor and she wanted to more information. They are 90 yrs old!
