I love this community! The lake and dog parks are wonderful to walk around, and the new pool in Phase 2 is a great addition. I was initially worried about mosquitoes, but I’ve never been bitten at the lake. There are lots of dragonflies and little frogs, which may help keep them in check. I’m a realtor that worked with Kathryn , the Realtor for Intown homes. Wonderful experience and she was very helpful, and still is, after the process. And she lives in the community, which says a lot! The community is beautiful and people who live there, love it. High-end finishes throughout. Well built. Top-of-the line appliances. THe builders contractor, Dustin, is very nice and easy to work with as well.

CGL is not what it used to be. Used to be great but not anymore. The pool was shut down this summer by the city. The lake is a cesspool of algae and mosquitoes because the fountains don't work. Algae has over taken the lake. All this despite a 20% increase in HOA dues. Parking is a nightmare. What used to be a functioning parking policy now has a few homeowners spying on other owners guests and garages and illegally and surreptitiously towing cars in the wee hours. I recently moved in and couldn't be happier with my decision. The location is super convenient, and the management team does a fantastic job keeping the community clean, friendly, and well-maintained.

We moved into our beautiful Cottage Grove Lake home in 2022 and have truly loved our home itself. Unfortunately, our experience with the ongoing management of the community has become increasingly disappointing especially the HOA not addressing issues but ignoring or denying them. With a 20% increase in our HOA dues last year and now those funds are being used for towing resident cars and repairing damaged gates caused by Intown's construction crews.
