Took my Buick in to get a battery replaced, worried they would be too busy or not have a matching battery as I drive an older car. Garrett helped me immediately upon arrival and had my battery changed, got me paid up, and on my way in just about 10 minutes. To say it was a good experience is an understatement. I will not take my car anywhere else for battery issues again.
Was there on Mon. afternoon to get a battery replaced. The girl that waited on me had the personality of a wet dishrag. She only spent about 15 minutes of my life that day. I'm in retail and would never want somone waiting on my with at least a "hi, how can I help you" or a "thank you" at the end of the sale. Bottom line: probably won't need another battery for a while and maybe she was just havin a bad day.
I love this store, always very helpful and easy to work with as I have a commercial account, they diligently resolve any issue you may have. Ames is proud of such great store management teams !

I want to give a shout out to Anthony, Karina, and Mike forgetting my car back on the road quickly. I have an Audi that I discovered requires some specific programming for the battery management. Typically that requires the dealer involvement. The closest Audi dealer is in Des Moines and not terribly convenient to get to. They went out of their way to help me out, Got my new battery installed, got it programmed and I was on my way. Car is running like a champ! Thank you!!
