I just passed the ISSA certification on line exam. I really like the way the material was organized in a way that made it easier to understand. Most of the key points were reiterated in some of the chapters which was very helpful to the learning process. I will definitely recommend ISSA certification to anyone that really want to be a very knowledgable certified personal trainer. The fact that the exam is 2/3 essays also allows you to demonstrate this knowledge.
I personally just completed and passed the final exam for a specialty in strength and conditioning. It was awesome to be able to study on my on time and at my pace instead of trying to keep up with a classroom setting. The learning material is in depth but is written so that I could understand what was being taught. The feedback that I received with my exam results was really helpful. Not only did it give you the score from each section but it included suggestions that I can take and put into action right away.

I was recommended by a trainer at my local gym thats been in the fitness business over 30 years. She said that its one of the best schools out there. I just passed my test with an overall grade of 88% Its definately a course that you cant fake your way through,and thats what i like.The test was very challengeing but it brang out the best in me.Getting the info that issa provides and understanding it has definately opened the door to another level of fitness.Its not the same someone telling you how to work a training program,... read more
