I am so happy I choose ISSA for my certification. They were extremely helpful and always checking up on me if things are going well and always let me know if there is anything I need that they will be there to help. With a dream to open my own Sports Training facility I was looking for a starting point. ISSA provided the first step to making the dream come true, I passed the CPT exam in 2014 and just recently passed the SSN exam. Both of these programs were set up for me to learn the material and be successful in both fields. ISSA is the best! The only fitness organization I 100% support, endorse and promote! I got started with ISSA and will finish with ISSA.
Last year earned my CFT and this month got my SFNC. ISSA Online course good experience and the material provide are excellent.
I have completed both my Certificate in Fitness Training and Fitness Nutrition Specialist and am currently completing my AS Exercise Science through ISSA and after having completed traditional educational courses, I can say with great conviction that ISSA provides just as in-depth, complete and professional material to it's students. Just became certified as specialist in fitness nutrition with ISSA! Easy to follow textbooks and workbooks, clear information, to the point with great real life illustrations to lend support to the principles. well designed quizzes and the final essay required us to apply what we learned and that was a confidence booster, to use and apply all our new knowledge to design a working program for someone! **I also like that ISSA is an ongoing resource to all alumni...and when you call...you get a person not a recording system.

The Top 5 schools to surface are: NASM; AFFA; ACE; NSCA & ISSA. In my opinion that's just another way of saying ISSA is the best. Since International Sports Sciences Association is the only one of these schools to be accredited by the DETC (Distance Education and Training Council), the choice for picking "the best" was a no-brainer. "International" is in the very title which means I could leave the U.S. and train somewhere else if need be. Not only was the CFT study guide well put together, and easy to understand, but the fact that anytime I had a question the staff was ready to answer. I enjoyed the fact that not only that I had a physical copy of the study guide, but also had access to the guide on the website. So not matter where I was I could study.
