Good Evening I have just completed my Certification in Specialist in Exercise Therapy which give me the Elite Trainer 1. I got certification in June 2016, but I had the course since 2013. Yes, I had to put it on the back burner a couple of times. I was always reading the book but life always got in the way. I was driving a semi truck over the road, and seen a lot of unhealthy people. I knew I didn't want to go down that road. I went from 200 to 265 and I knew I needed a change. Finally a certified personal trainer. All thanks to ISSA. With all the challenges I was faced with, they were always checking on me and their encouragement went a long way. If you want the Best, go for ISSA. Now I know so much about fitness and nutrition. Their study pack is what I call my encyclopedia lol. For those of you that are looking at becoming a Certified Personal Trainer or getting your degree in Exercise Science. I would recommend ISSA all day long and twice on Sunday's, because they have a program that will allow you to work at your own pace without any pressures, stress, on a daily basis. The ISSA courses are very in depth and thorough - always learning something new after 30 years in the industry. Help is immediately available if needed - the BEST organization I have ever certified with!!!! I highly recommend these courses and certifications.
I've taken a certification class in Dallas, TX many years ago when ISSA pretty much first started out. ISSA wasn't very well known but could tell they would be. Today ISSA is world reknown for their certifications. I redid the test and I looked back over my very old 1st edition text book and look at today's and you can see just how far fitness has came and how ISSA has stayed on top of it.
I have been in spot my whole life,so this is why I have chosen to take personal trainer course!I found ISSA incredible for many reasons!As English is my second language,I found that books and videos provide very clear, informative and very interesting information,and I did gain a good knowledge!
