International Buddhist Meditation Center (IBMC) in Los Angeles was founded in 1970 by Ven. Dr. Thich Thien-An, a scholar and Zen Master from Vietnam. IBMC was one of four original Zen centers founded in the US to promote meditation and Buddhism in English to interested Americans. IBMC offers weekly Sunday service (via Zoom due to Covid-19) which include meditation, Dharma talk and discussion by a guest speaker and chanting.
