Horrible billing practices, I have two forms of insurance and the coder chooses to bill me an invoice of the remaining charges rather than submitting it to the secondary payer. This is flat out lazy and immoral. I have called the secondary payer to inquire, and they never received a claim after the primary payer paid their allowable amount. The billing department refuses to return calls to correct the matter. I can’t even request a CMS 1500 to submit on their behalf, and it appears that my only recourse is to pay out of pock... read more
