Took my daughter for an exam so she could go to a camp that required it. I was told that it would make more sense to just do a well-child visit + immunizations since it would be covered as preventive care and would also cover the required exam. Hey, first off, the man operating the front desk of the rehabilitation clinic was fantastic! Was still kind and professional even when I went full momma bear. He gets 10 out of 5 stars. Truly a great person. This criticism is mostly for the mychart app. When I clicked on my daughters profile to check on time and location for her OT assessment, it just says “Primary Children’s Taylorsville,” which I assumed was the location where we have had all her other appointments between 5600 and 5400 S. off redwood rd. Terrible. I’ve been here over an hour with a broken hand waiting for someone to help. Took an hour to get taken back and now I just been waiting for a doctor. Not cool, I can wait at home. IHC West Valley is much better, never have this problem. I experienced his everytime in Taylorsville. Don’t come here
I went to the InstaCare for a follow-up on an injury to my toe. The doctor that came into the room sat down in the chair next to the door and never even looked at my injury. She tried telling me that I needed X-rays and lab work to be done and potentially would need to go to the emergency room and have it amputated. None of this of course was accurate and when I went to a specialist the next day they said that it looked great and was just about finished healing.
