We met with a marvelous physician assistant, A.J. Pope. He was extremely knowledgeable. He was thoughtful and solicitous. He helped us feel at ease about the process and gave us step-by-step guidance on what the path looked like moving forward. He was able to immediately schedule us for follow-up evaluation and treatment. We told him he should have gone to medical school!!! IHC.... give him a raise!
Deeply unimpressed. I've had multiple phone calls since Thursday with the office to solve a simple rx issue. They blame the pharmacy and the pharmacy blames the doctor. I've waited since Thursday. I was on the phone with them at 8 am and despite promises, hours later it's still unresolved. Escalating the issue - and the secretary takes issue with my serious tone in which frustration and fear are expressed and the simple timeline of events. The supervisor is expected to call me back. They are not very communicative and my experience with them was that they scheduled a test, sent multiple reminders about the test including 30 minutes prior to the scheduled test time and then when we arrived we were told the appointment had been canceled due to insurance saying the test wasn’t covered. After calling the insurance company I found out they never submitted an approval request to the insurance company. They never called to let us know they had failed to do this, never called to say the appointment was canceled... read more
Doctor has “left” for the day 3 times I have scheduled to see this clinic. I drive 30 minutes to get here and they REFUSE to tell me until I show up to my appointment 15 minutes early. ABSOLUTELY pathetic! Do not see IHC Heart center because they will just wait for you to DIE instead of treating you.
After a heart ablation I was instructed to meet with my cardiologist a week after the procedure. I was told I couldn’t get an appointment for 5 months. When my heart rate went extremely high and blood pressure dropped, I phoned and wasn’t able to talk to my doctor. The nurse I spoke with was very dismissive and acted like it was no big deal.
