He literally zoned out during our initial consult, said about five words, and left. I've been feeling awful for months and I waited four months for this appointment... Just to be told it's "probably just allergies". He also started his note by diagnosing me with bipolar? For some reason? Despite not saying anything about it. I am not bipolar, I have a psych I see often and the psych confirmed I DO NOT HAVE BIPOLAR, BUT NOW IT'SIN MY CHART. So Meier is just pulling things out of his butt at this point. Dr. Meier is a very nice, normal guy who happens to be an excellent rheumatologist. He listens to me and remembers what I tell him. He follows up and follows through. A couple of months ago he called me (during a week he was out of the office) so he could check on me and make sure I was doing okay after some labs came back abnormal. He has been my rheumatologist for almost 3 years, and I am so thankful that I have him in my corner. He has helped me so much, and I am so thankful to be doing so well.
