Best of a Bad Situation I had to select this hospital because I had Kaiser insurance. I thought it would be a pain (excuse the pun) becuase it was so far away from my home, however a month before my baby was due, I had to go in because I developed severe pre-eclampsia. The doctors involved my husband and me in every decision and the nurse staff was so very friendly. My little girl was delivered a month early and is healthy and happy. The staff over at Exempla made the bad situation into a very pleasant stay.

Awesome place to have a baby! (or 3 in our case) We absolutely love this hospital and staff. We have had 2 kids there with Kaiser insurance and now are planning to pay out of pocket to have our 3rd there as we don't have maternity coverage anymore.

Bad experience watching my daughter giving birth My daughter just delivered her baby yesterday at Exempla Lafayette, and though she had no experience in medical facilities prior to this, I have worked in hospitals for years and in medical manufacturing. I rate Exempla as poor to miserable. My daughter entered in the very early morning after her water broke. They had all the pre-admit stuff in place and she went to a labor and delivery room. Great delivery experience My daughter gave birth at Exempla a couple of days ago, and our experience couldn't have been better. My daughter, her husband and I received every consideration during the birth, and even though the Kaiser system meant that she had doctors she hadn't met, they were all positive, confident, informative and confidence inspiring. Personal attention, small hospital Any time that I have had to visit Orem Community Hospital for emergency purposes, I have had to wait for quite awhile. Once I got in to see a Doctor, I felt like they were very good to make me feel comfortable. Because it is a smaller hospital, I feel that you get more attention. If you are going there to have a baby, this would be a good place to go, but if you are needing major medical attention, they will usually send you to another hospital. Touchstone Imaging is not to bad I went to have an MRI on my brain for headaches. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Very good deal, I would recommend them. Billing need help, I got over charged for co payment so I am having to request a refund, be sure and know what your co-payment is before going in, I guess I assumed they knew what they were doing until I contacted my insurance courier...no worries.

Profesional establishment The people are very profesional, everybody. I have used them twice and have been very pleased with every one there. I feel they are the best if you need an MRI. This place I recommend highly.

easy I find that when I have had to get an MRI , in the past, the closed in feeling makes me sick. I just cann't lay still. This open MRI is great. It's so open that I did not get sick at all. Just lay back and let the machine do the work. The staff answered all my questions, and then turned on the earphones to my favorite radio station. Made a difficult test easy.
