My mother was in the hospital in critical care. When she was released, an order was placed with Interim Healthcare for home care for her. They never contacted us. I worked with the hospital to see what happened. The hospital advocate called them and they said they could not find the order. It was resent to them. While in week 2 of release, we still had not heard from them. The hospital advocate placed 2 more calls. We are at week 3 and we still have not heard from them. This used to be a decent agency. At least on the unskilled side until they started sending me lazy and entitled caregivers that liked to waste my cleaning supplies and then hide them. A particular caregiver would start cooking my food and then leave for a smoke break for at least 45 minutes and then come back as it is burning. She did this twice so I reported her to the office. Next thing I know my case manager is "investigating me for racism"
Currently a CNA for the last 6.5 years. Love this place like my family I'm always getting hours. I'm very popular at the nursing homes for my work ethics.
Just wanted to talk about one of their CNAs Kayla is extremely sweet kind and professional and really cares about her patients! She always has a great attitude and always goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are getting the care they deserve ! Keep up the good work she deserves a raise !
I did my CNA course at Interim, my instructor was Miss Ellen MacAlester, best and most caring instructor you’ll ever come across. Even after we completed the course we were allowed to go back to the class and practice whenever and even join her class until we passed our state exam. I have anxiety problems so I’d always ask her to give me practice test over and over which she does. She answers every question or concern, I was able to pass my exam in flying colors with her help.
