After my first visit to Integrative Manual Therapy and Wellness and my first session with Calla Selfridge I have confidence that they will be able to help me reduce my chronic pain and set me up for success in the future. I also should have known that Calla was a swimmer. If you are a swimmer you would understand.
After my first visit, it felt like my lung capacity had increased by 20% ... or like a weight had been lifted from my chest. Over the next few days I watched as my Fitbit’s resting heart rate dropped over 7 bpm, back to near normal levels. I have been treated at Integrative Manual Therapy and Wellness for several years now. Krysia has an almost magical ability to sweet-talk my spine into the correct position! I was there today struggling to sit, stand or bend. I walked out feeling like a new person. I live in Newport News, so the drive is no joke, but it is worth it to get this kind of pain relief!
Absolutely wonderful place, with wonderful people. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so my joints never want to behave and stay in place. Krysia puts me back together again! I feel so much more functional with the help of this practice.
